Frequently Asked Questions

Is transport included for this experience?

No — transport is not included by default. You can add transport by turning on the area transport toggle in the booking section above. Once enabled, we can provide pickup and drop-off from any location in Sri Lanka. Transport is charged separately at 0.33 USD per kilometre, per vehicle.

Can we adjust the group size?

Yes — the booking selector shows the standard range of 2–30 guests.
If you have fewer than 2: choose 2 and state the exact number in the Notes.
If you have more than 30: select 30 and clearly state the real group size (for example “35 guests”) in the Notes. Pricing will be adjusted for larger groups and we will confirm final costs before payment.

How much do we need to pay before booking?

A deposit of 30% of the total booking cost is required after we confirm your booking (confirmation will be sent via WhatsApp or email). The remaining balance is paid as agreed before the experience. You may reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the experience start time.

If we don’t speak English, can we get a translator?

Yes — please mention your preferred language in the Notes field when booking the Pottery Experience. If a translator for your language is available, we will arrange one. If not, pottery is a very visual and hands-on activity — your artisan will guide you step-by-step through demonstrations, shaping methods, and wheel techniques, making the experience easy and enjoyable without needing fluent English.
