Frequently Asked Questions

Is transport included for this experience?

No — transport is not included by default. You can add transport by turning on the area transport toggle in the booking section above. Once enabled, we can provide pickup and drop-off from any location in Sri Lanka. Transport is charged separately at 0.33 USD per kilometre, per vehicle.

Can we adjust the group size?

Yes — the booking selector shows the standard range of 4–30 guests.
If you have fewer than 4: choose 4 and state the exact number in the Notes.
If you have more than 30: select 30 and clearly state the real group size (for example “35 guests”) in the Notes. Pricing will be adjusted for larger groups and we will confirm final costs before payment.

How much do we need to pay before booking?

A deposit of 30% of the total booking cost is required after we confirm your booking (confirmation will be sent via WhatsApp or email). The remaining balance is paid as agreed before the experience. You may reschedule free of charge up to 24 hours before the experience start time.

What should I wear and bring for the Agri Experience?

Wear comfortable clothes suitable for light farm work and being outdoors. We suggest:

  • Long trousers or durable leggings (protects against plants and insects)
  • A comfortable long-sleeve shirt or layers (mornings can be cool; sun can be strong mid-day)
  • Sturdy closed-toe shoes or boots (no open sandals for field work)
  • Hat or cap
  • Light gloves (optional) — useful for planting or handling soil

Dress you don’t mind getting a little earthy — this is a hands-on, seed-to-harvest experience. Water bottles and short eats are provided.

If we don’t speak English, can we get a translator?

Yes — please write your preferred language in the Notes field when booking the Agri Tour. If we have a translator for your language, we will provide one for the farm walk and demonstrations. If not, your guide will still assist you using visual explanations, hands-on demonstrations, and field activities, making it easy to enjoy and understand the full farming experience.

If we add lunch, where will it be served?

Lunch can be added when booking by selecting the lunch option in the booking panel above. Lunch is served at a quality partner villa or local restaurant near the fields — a comfortable, scenic spot where you can relax after the farm activities.

When adding lunch you can:

  • Choose from the available menu options in the booking section
  • Specify dietary requirements or preferences in the Notes field

We’ll confirm the final menu choice, availability and price in your booking confirmation.
